Welcome to 108Chat, an omni-channel customer communication platform operated by 108Chat Co., Ltd. ("108Chat", "we", "us", or "our").

We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling personal data responsibly in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) ("PDPA"), the EU General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"), the UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA"), and other applicable regulations (collectively, "Data Protection Laws").

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal data when you access or use our website, applications, and related services (collectively, the "Platform").

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please discontinue use of the Platform.

1.1 Definition of Personal Data

"Personal Data" means any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual, such as a name, email address, phone number, or information associated with an account or device.

You may manage, modify, or withdraw your consent at any time through our cookie settings or browser controls.

By registering for an account or using the Platform, you acknowledge that your personal data will be processed as described in this Privacy Policy, subject to your consent choices and applicable law.

1.3 Relationship with Other Agreements

This Privacy Policy operates alongside any other contractual agreements or terms of service you may have with 108Chat. In the event of a conflict, the terms of those agreements will prevail.

This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the Platform, including businesses, administrators, team members, and other authorized individuals who access or use our services.

When Does 108Chat Collect Personal Data?

We may collect personal data in the following situations:

  • When you complete forms, surveys, or participate in events or beta programs

  • When you connect a third-party platform or service (such as Google, Meta, LINE, or Microsoft) to 108Chat
  • When you voluntarily provide information in connection with our services

If you connect your 108Chat account with third-party services (such as Google/Gmail, Microsoft Outlook, Meta/Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, or LINE), we receive data from those services as permitted by the scopes you authorize and their policies. See Section 6 for details on how we handle data from those integrations.

3.4 Cookies and Similar Technologies

108Chat uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the Platform, analyze usage, and support marketing activities.

How We Share Personal Data

We may share personal data only in limited circumstances, including:

  • With trusted service providers who assist in operating the Platform (such as cloud hosting and infrastructure providers)
  • With integration partners as authorized by you, solely to provide the features you request
  • For legal, regulatory, or security reasons when required by law
  • With your explicit consent

All third parties are contractually required to process data securely and only for specified purposes. 108Chat does not sell personal data.

Third-Party Integrations and Google API Services

108Chat lets you connect external messaging and email accounts so you can manage all of your conversations in one inbox. When you connect an account, you authorize 108Chat to access and process the data necessary to provide that feature. Supported integrations include Google (Gmail), Microsoft (Outlook), Meta (Facebook and Instagram), WhatsApp, and LINE.

6.1 Google API Services and Gmail Data

When you connect a Gmail account, 108Chat requests only the access required to bring your email into the unified inbox. We may request the following Google OAuth scopes:

gmail.readonly

Read your email messages and metadata to display incoming mail in your inbox.

gmail.modify

Organize mail on your behalf — for example, mark messages as read or apply labels — without permanently deleting your messages.

gmail.send

Send replies and emails on your behalf from your connected address.

userinfo.email

Identify the email address of the connected Google account.

contacts.readonly / contacts.other.readonly

Read contact names and addresses to resolve sender and recipient details in your inbox.

Limited Use Disclosure

108Chat's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used only to provide and improve the user-facing features described above. We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, we do not transfer it to third parties except as necessary to provide the service or as required by law, and we do not use it to train generalized or non-personalized AI/ML models. Human access to Google user data is restricted except with your consent, for security or compliance purposes, or as required by law.

You can disconnect a Google account at any time from your 108Chat settings, and you may review or revoke 108Chat's access through your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

6.2 Other Integrations

For Microsoft Outlook, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), WhatsApp, and LINE, we access only the data needed to deliver, display, and send your messages and to operate the features you enable. Each provider's own privacy policy governs how it handles your data on its platform.

108Chat is not responsible for the availability, policy changes, or independent data practices of third-party platforms.

Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes.

When data is no longer required, it is securely deleted or anonymized. When you disconnect an integration or delete your account, the associated access tokens and data are removed in accordance with our retention schedule.

You may request access to, or deletion of, your personal data — including data obtained through connected integrations such as Gmail — at any time by emailing privacy@108.chat. We will action verified requests in accordance with applicable law.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational safeguards to protect personal data, including encryption of data both in transit and at rest, strict access controls, continuous monitoring, and regular security reviews. Access to sensitive data, such as Google user data, is limited to authorized personnel and used only as described in Section 6.

While we take reasonable measures to protect data, no system can guarantee absolute security.

Bot Protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)

To protect our sign-up, sign-in, contact, and other forms from automated abuse and bot traffic, we use Cloudflare Turnstile. Turnstile processes a limited set of client-side signals — such as your IP address, TLS fingerprint, User-Agent header, and the site key and its associated origin — solely to distinguish human visitors from bots. These signals are strictly necessary for security and are not used to identify, profile, or track you. Cloudflare's processing of this data is governed by the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum and the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

9.1 Thailand PDPA Rights

If you are in Thailand, you have rights under the PDPA, including the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC). To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in Section 11.

9.2 California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the CCPA, including the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. 108Chat does not sell personal data.

International Data Transfers

Your personal data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. Where this occurs, we implement appropriate safeguards to ensure adequate data protection.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, technology, legal requirements, or how we handle personal data, including Google user data.

When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where required by law or where the change materially affects how we use your data, notify you through the Platform or by email before the change takes effect.

We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the Platform after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
